[67 WashApp Page 681] Respondent Patricia Hanno, a longshore worker, filed suit against petitioner Neptune Orient Lines, Ltd., for injuries allegedly sustained while working on a Neptune vessel. The trial judge denied petitioner's motion for a new judge. Neptune filed a motion for discretionary review. A commissioner of this court granted the motion on the ground that the trial judge committed obvious error, RAP 2.3(b)(1). The commissioner also stayed the trial court proceedings pending this appeal. The matter was referred to [67 WashApp Page 682] this panel for accelerated review pursuant to RAP 18.12. We reverse and remand.
